Winter on the Middle Sea: A Mediterranean Voyage from Byzantium to the Baroque (and Back Again)
Sail a thousand years across the Mediterranean with the University of Utah Early Music Ensemble. Early flutes, winds, and strings, along with harpsichords and beautifully resonant voices, carry you from Kassia's ninth-century Byzantine chant through to Italy and Iberia, before returning east, framed by one woman's voice.
