“Gilbert’s Wall” presents a selection from Martin Malamud’s series Milongas (pronounced mee-LOHNG-gah), inspired by the atmosphere, movement, and social world of tango dancing. Martin Malamud is an Argentine artist, illustrator, and Computer Science professor at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA). Trained at the P. Pueyrredón School of Fine Arts and under renowned artists including Luis Scafati, Aída Carballo, and Mariano Sapia, Malamud’s career bridges art and digital media. His work has been featured in major exhibitions and has received numerous awards. He has also illustrated a wide range of books and publications.
