The University of Memphis Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Brier, presents Shadows & Light, a program exploring the interplay of atmosphere, rhythm, power, and passion. The concert opens with Debussy’s evocative Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, followed by Falla’s vibrant El amor brujo, featuring contralto Megan Gray. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E Minor.
