Join us for a lecture and conversation with John Wood Sweet, a professor in the Department of History and the Bancroft-Prize winning author of The Sewing Girl’s Tale, moderated by Michael A. Betts II of High Point University, followed by a concert by C. Leonard Raybon, director of choirs and a composer at Tulane University, and UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduate and alumna performers in the UNC Department of Music, featuring E. Katherine Hargrove of Colonial Williamsburg, Mending Sampler: Lanah Sawyer and the Cost of Courage in Revolutionary America.
