Under the artistic direction of William Starrett, Sapphire Ballet honors the company’s legacy with breathtaking choreography, elegant costumes, and exquisite staging. Join us before and after the evening performance of Sapphire to celebrate South Carolina Ballet’s 65th Sapphire Anniversary – a tribute to the loyalty, integrity, and artistry that define our company and its patrons. Dress to impress (sapphire blue encouraged!) and enjoy an elegant evening featuring an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and a show-stopping anniversary cake. Gala guests will enjoy exclusive access to the gala space during intermission and the opportunity to mingle with dancers, staff, alumni, and fellow supporters.
