Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Baz Luhrmannâs iconic 1996 film with William Shakespeareâs Romeo + Juliet Film in Concert, a live cinematic concert experience featuring a big-screen presentation of the film, elevated with live music, atmospheric lighting, and immersive concert stage production. As the film plays on screen, a 12-piece hybrid ensemble performs the soundtrack and score live in sync with the action, animating the vibrant world of Verona Beach.
More than a traditional night at the movies, the production brings the filmâs romance, chaos, and emotional intensity off the screen and into the theater.
Directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, William Shakespeareâs Romeo + Juliet reimagined the classic for a new generation with its stylized visuals, modern energy, and unforgettable soundtrack featuring Desâreeâs âKissing You,â The Cardigansâ âLovefool,â Radioheadâs âTalk Show Host,â and Garbageâs â#1 Crush.â
Developed in collaboration with Disney Concerts, Williams Shakespeareâs Romeo + Juliet Film in Concert is a bold fusion of film, music, and live performance.
