Frédéric Chopin, Ballade No. 2 in F major, Op. 38
Frédéric Chopin, Ballade No. 3 in Ab major, Op. 47
Frédéric Chopin, Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52
Ethan Kwong is a senior at Carnegie Mellon pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science and Art. He has played piano since he was 4 years old and studied with various teachers, most recently Annamarie McCarthy and now Frederic Chiu. He began learning the second Ballade in high school and found a deep connection with Chopin’s powerful and emotional compositions, bringing all four together for his senior recital. Outside of music, he enjoys playing basketball and his other concentration in computer science.
