Hao Bai, saxophone
HaoBai was admitted to the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 2020, majoring in Classical Saxophone Performance under the guidance of Professor Yi Lian. In 2024, he entered Carnegie Mellon University to pursue his Master’s degree in Classical Saxophone Performance, studying with Professor James Houlik. During his studies at both institutions, Bai has given numerous solo and chamber performances, collaborating in saxophone trios and quartets with fellow students. He has also presented his own solo recital, demonstrating his expressive artistry and solid technical foundation. Hao’s musical journey reflects his dedication to exploring the full range and color of the saxophone repertoire, from traditional classical works to contemporary compositions, showcasing his passion for chamber collaboration and solo performance alike.
