Michele Schwartz is a junior at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in French Horn Performance with a certification in Music Education and a minor in German Language Studies. She currently studies with William Caballero, Principal Horn of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. At Carnegie Mellon, Michele performs with the Philharmonic, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, chamber groups, and has appeared under the baton of Leonard Slatkin and David Chan.

Beyond CMU, Michele has performed with the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra and participated in festivals such as Credo Chicago, Bayview Music Festival, and the Eastman French Horn Institute. She has also played in masterclasses for renowned artists including Michelle Baker and Elizabeth Freimuth.

A passionate performer and educator, Michele teaches private horn lessons to young students and hopes to inspire the next generation of musicians while continuing to grow as a versatile and expressive artist.
