Student Recital
Suin Jeong, violin
Violinist Suin Jeong is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree in Violin Performance at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Music, where she studies under Professor William van der Sloot.
She has appeared as soloist with several orchestras in Korea, including the La Cremona Excellent New Artists Music Festival, the Philharmonic Orchestra Future Talent Concert, the Daegu MBC Symphony Orchestra, and the Gyeongbuk Provincial Symphony Orchestra. She also served as concertmaster in the World Orchestra Series, leading the orchestra in collaboration with renowned conductor Nansae Geum.
Beyond her solo and leadership roles, Suin has been active in chamber and orchestral performances, including appearances at the Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival and other major venues. She is a prizewinner of numerous competitions, receiving first prizes from the Korean Music Association Competition and the Philharmonic Orchestra Competition, as well as additional honors at national and international contests.
