Stephen Kennedy\, director COMPLINE is sung by the Schola Ca ntorum on Sunday evenings (October through April) at 9:00 P.M. at Christ Ch urch\, 141 East Avenue. Repertoire includes Gregorian Chant\, and motets by Byrd\, Gibbons\, Lassus\, Monteverdi\, Palestrina\, Parsons\, Sheppard\, T allis\, Tavener\, Pärt and other notable composers. ORGAN PRELUDES are p layed by Eastman faculty and students preceding Compline on all but the fir st Sunday of the month. CANDLELIGHT CONCERTS at Christ Church precede C ompline on the first Sunday of the month\, October-April. Concerts begin at 8:30pm\, with Compline at 9:00pm. A reception follows Compline on these fi rst Sundays.
