Faculty artists present an evening of chamber music featuring w orks by Olivier Messiaen, Walter Rabl, and guest composer James Stephenso n. The program is anchored by Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, an e ight‑movement work for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano that explores a wide range of textures, colors, and expressive possibilities. Also o n the program are the opening movement of Rabl’s Quartet in E‑flat Major, Op. 1, and Stephenson’s Quartet for a New Tomorrow, a four‑movement conte mporary work offering contrast in mood, tempo, and character.
