SSMT: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical Armstrong Concert Hall Faculty Recital Join us for an exciting afternoon of music as Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin Kevin Zhu takes the stage to perform Niccolò Paganini’s complete 24 Caprices for Solo Violin, op. 1, a tour de force that showcases both technical brilliance and expressive depth. A Juilliard-trained virtuoso praised for “awesome technical command and maturity” by The Strad and “absolute virtuosity … almost blinding in its incredible purity” by L’ape musicale, Zhu has earned international acclaim for performances from the Konzerthaus Berlin to the Forbidden City Concert Hall. “We are thrilled to welcome Kevin Zhu to Shenandoah Conservatory for this rare and ambitious program.
