Meet the Solace Quartet, the student saxophone quartet that recently attended the North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Biennial Conference and competed in NASA’s Collegiate Saxophone Quartet Competition at The Ohio State University! While at the conference, the Solace Quartet also had the opportunity to attend masterclasses, recitals, lectures, and other exciting events that bring together leading saxophonists. To help fund this experience, the group applied for and was awarded a Mildred Brown Mayo Undergraduate Research Fund in Music Grant.
