Vishnu, Davis & Haleigh is a unique collaboration between: Vishnu R, an award-winning performer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Bangalore, India. He blends his roots in Indian Classical Carnatic music with Western classical and jazz influences. Vishnu has developed a unique voice on his self-invented instrument, the Navtar, a 9-string creation that combines distinct fretted, fretless, and 12-harp elements into one. With over 600 performances and workshops across India, China, USA, and Europe, he has gained international acclaim. Davis & Haleigh, an Alabama-based violin and guitar duo blending Appalachian, Celtic, jazz, and global music traditions. Davis & Haleigh have performed and toured in the US, UK, Europe, and Canada, and were recently featured on NPR. Both are graduates of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and have built decorated careers as musicians both independently, and together.
