Inspired by the life and legacy of poet Andrea Gibson, who wrote, “In the end, I want my heart to be covered in stretch marks,”—this concert is a meditation on how love shapes us. Through music that is tender, fierce, and deeply human, the University Community Chorus reflects on the ways love grows beyond its borders: how it expands us, unsettles us, leaves its mark, and calls us into courage.
