Come join the University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra as we present an afternoon filled with musical passion. Mikhail GLINKA Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila Alex Kravchenko, guest conductor Edward ELGAR Salut d’amour Hector BERLIOZ Symphonie fantastique (49') The University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra is an 80-plus member auditioned ensemble comprised of the finest undergraduate and graduate music majors from the distinguished School of Music as well as gifted non-majors from other departments across campus. The UDSO presents four programs a year and performs literature from the standard orchestral repertoire spanning the Baroque to the contemporary, as well as collaborations with select choral ensembles, soloists, and conductors. *Processing fees apply to online orders. Online ticket sales are available until 12PM on the day of the performance, or on the preceding Friday for weekend performances. Tickets may also be purchased at the doors beginning one hour prior to showtime on a space available basis. Food Drive The student-run Peace Through the Arts and Delaware Trumpet Guild are sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Delaware. Please bring non-perishable food items for donation.
