Honoring Robert G. Edge and the legacy of Hugh Hodgson. UGA faculty, alumni, and current students join forces with Chamber Music Athens guest artists, the internationally acclaimed Ying String Quartet, for an unforgettable afternoon of chamber music evoking scenes from around the world — Spain, Madagascar, France, and Czech Republic — in colorful music by Turina, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, and Dvořák. This special, one-time performance honors distinguished arts patron Robert G. Edge and the legacy of his teacher, Hugh Hodgson, and will also include performances by the winners of the 2026 Robert G. Edge Piano Competition at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. This concert is free, but registrations are highly encouraged.
