By the time young adults reach college, they are inundated with so many external influences: parents, friends, social media – the list can go on. It can be so hard to know what desires are truly aligned with their hearts or if they are just acting out the pressures of expectations. This talk for college students will teach them the “SHED” Framework that will empower them to unburden themselves from the weight of expectations, find confidence in their own voice, and pursue what matters to them most. Learning Objectives: Identify and challenge external influences on your life decisions and desires Learn strategies for honest self-reflection Cultivate confidence and self-expression. To receive credit for this program, students must log in through Handshake and complete the survey at the end of the session. Access to this event will be made available 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
