The UGA Career Center is partnering with the Disability Resource Center for this workshop on navigating the transition from college to the workplace as a student with disabilities. This discussion will explore disability disclosure, requesting accommodations at work, and strategies for advocating for specific needs in the workplace. As a result of attending this virtual panel discussion, UGA students will be able to: Recognize what constitutes a disability in the workplaceIdentify appropriate ways to support colleagues with varied abilitiesEvaluate strategies for requesting and navigating workplace accommodations To receive credit for this program, students must log in through Handshake and complete the survey at the end of the session. Access to this event will be made available 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
