Anthony Bonamici performs solo piano works by the American composer John Knowles Paine (1839-1906). Paine was highly influential in the establishment of American art music and the legitimization of the field of music in the United States. His piano music is mostly unknown. This concert represents the second program in a series performed by Dr. Bonamici comprising the complete solo piano works of the composer.
