Ricardo Hernandez Cabrera will present a Doctoral Trombone Lecture Recital titled Rethinking the Standards: Comparative Study of Latin American Composers’ Works for Tenor Trombone featuring works by Carl M. V. Weber, Carolina Calvache, Sonia Morales Matos, Carlos Salzedo, Bert Appermont and William Pagan. This is Ricardo's third DMA Recital in fulfillment of a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Trombone Performance. He is a student of Mr. Haim Avitsur.
