KU Theatre & Dance’s season includes a fast-moving showcase celebrating the talent and versatility of KU dancers in a student-produced, evening-length repertoire concert. Senior Showcase is the Dance majors’ capstone project where they present their in-depth, embodied research. Drawing on their work in the Department’s choreography series, these students co-produce the concert, audition dancers, find music, and procure costuming. Expect a variety of dance styles. Student choreographers are: Madi Seelye, Sloane Smith, Joslyn Vetock, Elizabeth Wellman, and Rizzy Xiong Tickets are free and available at the door. We encourage early arrival for a good seat!
