The first show of the Division of Theatre’s 2025/2026 season, The Courage to Right a Woman’s Wrongs is a fascinating exploration of the other side of a legendary story. What if Don Juan had to face the woman he ghosted? And what if she were transformed into a sword-wielding, powerful opponent? When Leonor decides to become Leonardo and follow her fickle sometime-lover to Brussels, she earns the love of ladies and the admiration of all, using her wits as deftly as her sword. Written by Ana Caro Mallen de Soto and directed by assistant professor of theatre and English Rosalie Purvis, this wild reimagining of a classic hero will run from October 17-26 in Hauck Auditorium.
