Professor of Bassoon Jeffrey Lyman and the members of the University of Michigan Bassoon Studio will present a program of solo and ensemble works on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 5:00 pm in Stamps Auditorium. New music from Italy by David Fontanesi and Alberto Schiavo will begin the program, followed by Alain Bernaud's wild showpiece *Hallucinations* for bassoon and piano. The rest of the program will feature bassoon quartets and quintets by Amy Beth Kirsten, Astor Piazzolla, and a new quartet by Wynton Marsalis titled *4 Bassoons Talking*.
