Join us for an MPulse faculty recital presented by SMTD Professor Ian Antonio and SMTD alum Dr. Jean Carlo Ureña Gonzalez, Assistant Professor of Music at Lawrence University. The MPulse Percussion Institute is one of U-M's summer performing arts programs for high school aged students. Students have lessons, classes, and projects centered around marimba, snare drum, timpani, drum set, and percussion ensemble, and explore non-Western musical traditions, improvisation, musical technology, and how to prepare for college auditions.
