This concert features a series of electroacoustic pieces, combining fixed media, live performance with live electronics, and live diffusion. *Inward Voices, Outward Struggles* is a four-part composition, including *disonancia*, *interrumpido y fragmentado*, *menos que nada*, and *un futuro*, each exploring themes of gender violence, resistance, and identity in Mexico. Through an innovative spatial audio system, the concert creates an immersive sonic experience that blurs the boundaries between sound, space, and storytelling, offering a unique perspective on these pressing issues. Three performances: Thursday, April 17 at 7:30 pm Saturday, April 19 at 6:00 pm Saturday, April 19 at 7:00 pm *Limited seating! Reserve your spot by emailing nataliaq@umich.edu* Presented by Natalia Quintanilla Cabrera, candidate for the MA in Media Arts in the Department of Performing Arts Technology.
