The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance and the Center for World Performance Studies welcomed guest artists Ova Saopeng and Stephanie “Soultree” Camba from TeAda Productions for a week-long residency, January 26–30, 2026. TeAda Productions is a Los Angeles-based nomadic theater company rooted in the stories of immigrants, refugees, and Indigenous peoples. During their time on campus, Saopeng and Camba visited classes, led workshops, met with students, and shared their work informally with the U-M community. This video offers a glimpse into the residency and the powerful exchange of artistry, storytelling, and community-building that took place at SMTD.
