FREE Film Screening: The Circus with LIVE musical accompaniment
Location: Memorial Union Building Theater II - 4-3-2025 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm (America/New_York) (1 hour 30 minutes)

One of Federico Fellini’s favorites, The Circus is the final film Charlie Chaplin made during the silent era, and is often seen as a metaphor for how he saw his place in the transition from silent to sound cinema. The Circus includes hilarious comedy bits and a bittersweet love story. Some of Chaplin’s most famous scenes and themes make an appearance, the parallels to Fellini’s fascination with clowns are on display, and the sentimentality might bring on a few tears. Live musical accompaniment by festival favorite Jeff Rapsis. Event Url
