Join Frederick Reece, Assistant Professor of Musicology at the University of Washington, for a discussion of his new book: Forgery in Musical Composition: History, Aesthetics, and the Canon . In this seminal study of musical forgery, Reece shows how skillful fakers have important truths to tell us about knowing and valuing works of art precisely because they are not what they appear.
