The Wind Ensemble performs for hundreds of high school students and directors at the 47th annual USC Band Clinic. Their Friday night program includes Novum, by South Carolina high school band director Andrew Blair, a dectet for 10 winds by Louise-Marie Simon (pen name Claude Arrieu), and Paul Hindemith s cornerstone work Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes of Carl Maria von Weber. New USC Professor of Trumpet Rex Richardson will be featured on Allen Vizzutti s explosive Cyclone for trumpet and wind ensemble.
