Dr. Christopher White, Associate Professor of Music Theory at UMass Amherst will present “One Thousand Years of AI-ifying Music.” His research uses big data techniques to study how we hear and write music. Dr. White is a frequent contributor to regional publications on a wide range of topics, including music analysis, computational modeling, and artificial intelligence.
