The Grammy Award–winning Parker Quartet is recognized as one of the leading string quartets of its generation, known for its dynamic interpretations, fearless programming, and passionate advocacy for contemporary music. Since its founding in 2002, the ensemble has earned international acclaim and performs regularly at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Konzerthaus Berlin. Highlights of the 2025–26 season include The Schubert Project, a deep dive into Schubert’s late chamber works.
For their Spring concert at USC School of Music, Parker Quartet (Daniel Chong, violin; Ken Hamao, violin; Jessica Bodner, viola; and Kee-Hyun Kim, cello) will perform Franz Schubert’s String Quartet in G major, D. 887, along with Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 11 in F minor, Op. 95, “Serioso" and Phillip Glass’ String Quartet No. 5.
Tickets are available at the door, and in person or online at Koger Center Box Office.
