Internationally renowned cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, and the current 2025-26 Artist-in-Residence at the New York Philharmonic, visits USC Thornton for a masterclass with the talented students of the Strings Department. Music being workshopped includes works by Johannes Brahms, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Johann Sebastian Bach. USC Thornton students performing include: Cole Leonard, cello Sam Guevara, cello Jaemin Lee, cello Abby Wong, piano Yu-Ting Peng, piano — Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
