This concert is a free event, but patrons must reserve a ticket, and have a virtual or physical copy of each ticket in hand, to enter this performance.

• This performance runs approx. 2 hrs and will include a 15-minute intermission.

School of Music-Community Chorus Concert- Mendelssohn's Elijah

oin the WCU Concert Choir, Western Carolina Community Chorus, and orchestra in a performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah!  Beloved by audiences for its thunderous choruses and operatic solos, this dramatic choral masterwork tells of an ancient droubt, a fierce competition among the priests of Baal, and a fiery ascent to heaven.  Conducted by Dr. Allison Thorp and featuring the voice faculty of WCU, Dr. Isaiah Feken and Dr. Andrea Price, the concert is free and open to the public.  Come join us!
