The Tree School Presents… Listening to and With Trees: A Full Moon Deep Listening and Sound Gathering with Composer and Harpist Gabriel Jenks We welcome you to the first in our series of being with trees at night. Step away from the noise and tune into the nocturnal rhythm of the 180-year-old Bur Oak.  Beneath its majestic canopy, we will begin the evening with a series of guided deep listening practices, opening our awareness to each other and the teaching presence of the tree. As we settle in and the full moon begins to rise, award-winning Jacobs School of Music composer and musician Gabriel Jenks ( will improvise on the harp a real-time soundscape in collaboration with the moon, the tree, the night, and all of us together. Come dream, imagine, listen, and restore. What to Bring A favorite blanket, yoga mat, or chair to listen comfortably on the ground.
