Over the course of the 2026-27 season, Haimor continues to conduct a compelling range of repertoire, from masterworks by Mahler, Berlioz, Bernstein, and Gershwin to music by living composers including John Williams, Kareem Roustom, Gabriela Ortiz, and Reza Vali, and works by the long-underrecognized Florence Price, reflecting his deep commitment to both tradition and innovation. Praised for his "inspiring conducting," "sensitivity and his ability to create a defined, transparent sound", and his "sense of drama and particular gift for strong, emphatic finishes," Haimor has led distinguished orchestras throughout the United States and around the world, including the National Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Calgary Philharmonic. Upcoming engagements include a return to the Chineke! Orchestra at London's Royal Festival Hall in a program featuring works by Valerie Coleman and the London premiere of Laura and Sarah Ayoub's Arabian Symphony, as well as appearances with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Haimor served as music director of Germany's Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen from 2017 to 2020, leading the orchestra at their home venue, Stadthalle Reutlingen, and on tour throughout Germany and Europe. During his tenure, Haimor recorded three albums for CPO Records, including orchestral works of George Antheil, the piano concertos of Eduard Franck, and Furtwängler's Symphony No. 1, and collaborated with the London-based Chineke! Orchestra on a recording of works by Coleridge-Taylor for Decca.
