"Honeycomb," an original work written by Hugh Hodgson School of Music doctoral candidate Cody Brookshire, was performed by a ensemble of School of Music students, conducted by our director of bands, Cynthia Johnston Turner, with the help of a crowd full of smart phones in Hodgson Concert Hall at the UGA Performing Arts Center on August 11, 2016. Utilizing technology designed by Brookshire and his team, phones of concert attendees played notes in time with the music on stage.
