Jennifer Luo (BMus Perf '22) performs Claude Debussy's "Danseuses de Delphes," the first composition from Debussy's Préludes, a collection of 24 short pieces for solo piano composed between 1909 and 1913. The title refers to the sculpture Dancers of Dephi, which dates from the 4th century BC, consisting of three figures in high relief on top of an acanthus column found in 1894 near the sanctuary of Pythian Apollo at Delphi.
