    LSU Festival of Choirs: WE ARE PHOENIX

    The LSU A Cappella Choir\, Chorale\, Gospel Choir\, and Tiger Glee Club present the Festival of Choirs. In this concert\, these ensembles join a consortium of over fifty choral ensembles from around the United States to perform the world premiere of contemporary Tim Takach’s We Are Phoenix. The Earth has shown itself to be a powerful model of how to overcome obstacle through continual rebirth and evolution. Through poetry from multiple authors\, We Are Phoenix illuminates the analogy between humans and our planet: we both suffer loss and devastation and yet rise again and again\, becoming stronger each time.

    Take XII Film Festival

Three guest judges from various parts of the film industry judge student/alumni short films for the most anticipated night of every film student at LSU.
